Exotic Egypt
I was at the Egyptian Museum with my jaw dropped to the floor and my eyes almost popped out, looking at Tutankhamun's treasures! Esp King Tut's mask of over 10kgs of solid gold ⭐
.
I knew, I had to capture this dazzling treasure in my artlets. I already had some fab pigments I'd picked from Morocco. All I had to do was to create colours that would reflect the beauty and mystique of exotic Egypt. So, here they are...these beauties..ready to find their forever homes 😌
.
1. Pharaoh's Gold: A shiny, shimmery pot of yellowish-orangish gold that's sooo perfect for adding dazzling details to your art or for calligraphy.
.
2. Nefertiti's Crown: Who was she? Where is she resting? What did she really look like? The more you ponder the questions there are about ancient Egyptian kings and queens. But the famous bust of Nefertiti does show her stunning face and unique headgear. Gorgeous deep teal.
.
3. Giza Beige/Giza Sand: This grainy, sandy, vibrant yellow-beige that you'll see in all of the Giza Plateau, including the great pyramids. Every street, every structure, every little thing is covered in the golden yellow sand.
