Moroccan Blues
The palette has just three select shades of exotic blue that take me back to my holiday in Morocco this summer.
.
I've created these three colours with the pigments I bought from the lovely blue village of Chefchaouen ...all locally foraged by humble village artisans.
.
1. Marrakech - Deep indigo blue that's a reflection of the gorgeous Majorelle blue of the world's favourite Arabic city. SOOO perfect for painting clear skies!
2. Casablanca - A beautiful teal-blue inspired by Casablanca's pastel skies and Hasan II Mosque's stunning architecture. You'll love to use this for your landscapes and seascapes.
.
3. Chefchaouen - A beautiful blue that's splashed all over the cute little village, and the main inspiration behind the idea of making this palette.
.
*Since all the pigments are sourced from a home-based store in a Moroccan village, the pigment information is not available*
*This is a three-colour set of half pans, handpoured with handmade watercolours. All pans have a magnetic base, and packed in a travel-friendly tin case
